Our Story

Foothill Girl Up is a club based in Pleasanton, California dedicated to advocating for women and girls around the world. We are part of the larger Girl Up organization, a UN Foundation Initiative, which inspires and guides young girls to become leaders and inspire change in their communities. We hold discussions and lead activities where our members can discuss women of the past and present and find ways to take action and incite change. Our goal is to inspire our members and make changes in our community and bring us closer to equality for women and girls.
